Jana started touring with Susan Gibson, a nationally acclaimed singer-songwriter from Texas, in 2008. She started off as the Merch Girl, selling CDs and t-shirts and koozies to anyone who would look her way at a gig. This job gradually morphed into something bigger with a lot more hats. As it stands, Jana is fortunate enough to work with Susan on her booking, tour managing, online development, and a variety of other tasks tha range from Super Awesome to Officey and Mundane.
Jana has tour managed for Susan in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Idaho, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, South Carolina, North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.
She collects a ceramic pig from every state she visits on tour; so far she has 19 pigs. Some have dollar bills in them.
